MILLER, Barbara Jean – of Clio, age 75, died Friday, June 19, 2015 at Medilodge of Montrose. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 520 Butler St. in Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. Burial to follow in Crestood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Monday from 1-8 PM and at the church on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to the Eastern Michigan Food Bank.
Barb was born September 14, 1939 in Sanford, FL and raised by Eugene and Jewel (Whitley) McLeod. She lived in the Flint area most of her life. Mrs. Miller retired from Carman Ainsworth Schools in 1998. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Barb enjoyed being with her grandchildren, fishing and antiquing.
Surviving is: daughter, Kim (Richard) Taylor of Clio; 2 grandsons: Brent (Miki) Taylor of Clio, Justin (fiancé Christina) Taylor of Montrose; 2 great grandchildren, Makayla Marie Taylor of Montrose, Ryker Komasaki Taylor of Clio; best friend for over 50 years, Pamela Dunlap of Fenton; dear friend, Ronald Hect of Flint.
