WEST, Dorothy – age 85, passed away February 13, 2017. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday.
Dorothy was born in Saginaw, MI on June 16, 1931, daughter of the late Michael and Dorothy (Erzen) Zidick. She was married to Stewart P. West. Dorothy retired from Buick. She loved gardening, flowers and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her four children, Kerry Landon, Cindy Cates, Melody (Dan) Denkins and Mark (Linda) West; 11 grandchildren, Justin, Nicole, Casey, Jennifer, Pamela, Patrick, Zach, Josh, Alexandria, Stewart and Stephanie; 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Stuart; children, Michael West and Patricia Peters; sister, Helen Danko. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Birchwood Meadows and to Evergreen Hospice.
