KIDDER, Ernest J. – Of Swartz Creek, age 69, died Friday, October 12, 2018 at Living Joy Assisted Living.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11am Monday, October 22, 2018 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek 48473.
Burial at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 10:30am Monday until the time of Mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Ernest was born on June 30, 1949 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Ernest W. and Joan (Whitburn) Kidder.
He went to Sacred Heart School and graduated from Southwestern in Flint.
He was in the U.S. Air Force for four years as a Military Policeman., left with an Honorable Discharge as Staff Sergeant.
While in England he married Janet White and they were married for 32 years and had two children, Annette (Guerry) Bradley and Ernie Jr. (Nisrine) Kidder.
He was employed at Flint City Water Department, Hamady Brothers, Buick, and retired after 30 years of service.
Ernie loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and his many friends.
Surviving are children, Annette (Guerry) Bradley and Ernie Jr. (Nisrine) Kidder;
grandchildren, Delilah, Skylar, Ivy and Chloe;
mother, Joan (Whitburn) Kidder,
brother, Michael (Sharon) Kidder;
sisters, Pamela (Robert) McKee and Mary Anne Chapman;
nieces and nephews, Kristina (Brian) Hoch and Michael Kidder, Robert II (Elizabeth) McKee, Kristen (Mathew) Lovrenich, Ryan (Maddie) McKee, Stephanie (Steve) Cook, David (Vanessa) Arntzen, Lesley (James) Bower, Rachel Dalby, Alyssa Dalby;
great nieces and nephews, Sydney, Charlotte and Jacob Hoch, Alexandra, Kennan, Camden and Zachariah, Emily, Abigail, Isabelle and Olivia Lovrenich, Ethan and Finley McKee, Kylie, Austin and Melody Cook, David, Dylan, Cameran, Liam and Dyson Arntzen, Christopher and Autumn Bower, Joanna and Jacquelynn Dalby.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest W. Kidder and brother, Craig M. Kidder.
