Of Grand Blanc, died Monday, September 17, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Visitation 10 a.m. and Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Road, Grand Blanc, Pastor Robert Scott officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Faith Lutheran Church. George was born in Buchanan, Michigan.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church for 50 years, was President of the Optimist Club-Flint 1971-1972 and president of Arabian Horse Association of Michigan for several years. He was a member of Charter Life Underwriters (CLU) since 1977.
Mr. Marsh was owner and president of Pete Marsh Insurance Agency and was a representative of Mass Mutual Life Insurance for over 50 years. He was a world traveler, traveling to Europe, Mexico, St. Maartin and the Caribbean.
He enjoyed gardening and caring for his lawn. He bred and raised Arabian horses and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren compete nationally.
He loved spending time with his family and his dog, Roxie.
Surviving are children, Victoria of New York, Lisa Jo White (Paul) of Illinois, Mike (Sandy) Marsh of Flushing and Steve (Marie) Marsh of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Connor, Maggie, Scott, Kelly, Ryan, Jesse, Taylor, Shane, Wyatt, Zachary and Rex; great-grandson, Evan; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine and son-in-law, John White. George was the youngest of 6 siblings, and they have all passed before him.
