BOIS, Patrick Thomas – of St. Clair Shores, age 53, died Sunday, March 15, 2020 at his home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 19, 2020 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Cindy Dewar officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to the Big Brothers-Big Sisters.
Patrick was born September 22, 1966 to Thomas and Violet (Hogle) Bois. He grew up in Clio, Michigan and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1984. Patrick received his Political Science Degree from Michigan State University in 1988. He worked for Chrysler at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant with 25 years of service. He attended Community of Christ Church and also was part of the Big Brother-Big Sister Program. Patrick was a member of the UAW and also served as an assistant to Senator Donald W. Riegle Jr. He enjoyed golfing, music, traveling and camping. His favorite musical group was the WHO. Patrick was an avid reader and was very knowledgeable about a lot of different subjects.
Surviving are: Mother, Violet Bois; Sister, Connie Stoutenburg; Niece; Mary (David Christle) Stoutenburg; Nephews, Andrew Stoutenburg, Keith (Sarah) Stoutenburg, Robert Stoutenburg III, Daniel Stoutenburg; 2 Great Nieces; 7 Great Nephews; and his dog Diesel. He was preceded in death by his Father, Thomas Bois; Brother, Timothy Bois; Brother in law, Robert Stoutenburg.
