PRCHLIK, Emily K. - Age 89, of Swartz Creek, died August 3, 2017. Private services will be held on August 14, 2017 at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
Emily was born December 7, 1927 in Saginaw, the daughter of Anthony and Frances (Vacek) Kosis. She married Edward J. Prchlik Sr. in Saginaw on October 8, 1949. Emily was a Registered Nurse and was a long time nurse for Swartz Creek Schools. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Emily was also very active at the Swartz Creek Senior Center.
Emily is survived by her children, Jackie (Jim) Mesack and Edward (Cheryl) Prchlik Jr.; grandchildren, Laura (Chuck) Parsons, Andrea (Joe Sawatzki) Vert, and Dan Prchlik: great-grandchildren, Grace and Carson Vert.
Emily was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edward J. Prchlik Sr.
