BARBER, Dorothy Mae - Of Flint, age 99, died Monday, January 14, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born in Greene County, Arkansas on December 21, 1919, the daughter of the late Roy and Gertie Hooker. She retired from Fisher Body in 1978, after 25 years of service.
Surviving are children, Thomas Stevens, Shirley and husband Alan Cameron and Linda Carlson;
Son-in-law, Bill Eastman;
15 grandchildren;
25 great-grandchildren;
12 great-great-grandchildren;
1 half-brother;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Eastman; granddaughter, Amy Carlson; grandson, Paul Cameron; daughter-in-law, Teresa Stevens; 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
