BEACH, Stephanie (Stella) – of Davison, age 94, passed away February 1, 2015 at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 12 PM Friday, February 6, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial of cremated remains will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Stephanie was born in Flint, MI on April 7, 1920, daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Skucinski) Dzido. She married R. William “Bill” Beach on December 9, 1939 and he preceded her in death on August 7, 1998. Stephanie was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a Davison resident for 44 years. She was an accomplished homemaker and seamstress. Stephanie enjoyed gardening, bookkeeping and many other hobbies. After business school, she was a legal secretary then went on to be a state certified insurance agent working from home with her husband, operating Beach Insurance Agency.
Stephanie is survived by her children, Raymond (Joy) Beach of Grand Ledge, MI, Barbara (Bill) Arsenault of Davison, MI, Maribeth (Dan) Kennedy of Davison, MI, Sandra (Ken) Jasinski of Lansing, MI; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; half-brother, Edward Magrys. She was preceded in death by her sons, Ronald and Daniel Beach.
