SANTA, Earl G. - Of Grand Blanc, age 71, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at his residence.
A Memorial Service will be held 4pm Tuesday, August 28, 2012
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Per Earl's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Earl was born in Flint on April 25, 1941, the son of the late John and Thelma Santa. Earl married Joanne Geisler on December 25, 1965 in Flint. Earl graduated from Central High School, Class of 1959 and received his Bachelors of Arts from U of M Flint in 1964. He enjoyed all kinds of music, the Renaissance Festival and spending time in Traverse City. Earl retired from Patterson Elementary in Holly in 1992, after 29 years of service.
Surviving are wife, Joanne;
twin daughters, Lisa and husband Brent Chapman of Grand Blanc and Michelle and husband Chad Strong of Flushing;
grandchildren, Andrew Chapman, Samantha Chapman, Tristan Chapman and Noah Strong;
brother, John Jr. and wife Elena Santa of Las Vegas;
2 nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Gloria Santa.
