TIPPETT, Mary - Of Flushing, age 78, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Sugarbush Manor.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11am Friday, March 16, 2018 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 310 North Cherry Street, Flushing.
Father Gordon Reigle officiating.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities or St. Vincent de Paul.
Memorial Visitation 4-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Additional visitation 10am Friday at church until the time of the Mass.
Mary was born in Lake Linden, Michigan on March 25, 1939, the daughter of the late Henry and Rose Piche. On May 26, 1962, she married Thomas Tippett. Mary was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking, spending time in Lake Linden and with her four grandchildren.
Surviving are husband, Tom;
children, Tom Jr. (Pauline), Beth Leech (Evert), Larry (Lisa), and Jerry (Jennifer);
grandchildren, T.J., Jared (Christie), Alexandria and Nichole;
brother, Henry Piche;
and sister, Carol Adams.
