HENSLEY, Carol - Of Swartz Creek, age 71, died Monday, May 30, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Dan Louman officiating.
Visitation 4-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Carol was born in Dekalb County, Alabama on February 17, 1945, the daughter of Lewis and Ruby Norris. On October 11, 1964, she married Rodney Hensley in Mundy Township. Carol was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Loved going to the casino and former member of Flint Women’s Bowling Association.
Surviving are husband, Rodney Hensley;
Son, Joe (Debbie) Norris;
Daughters, Michelle (Joe) Contreras and Carolyn (Shawn) Thrower;
Grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Kyle and Bridget;
and 5 great-grandchildren.
