SALVATI, Aldo - Age 81, of Grand Blanc, died Monday, September 18, 2017. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Friday, September 22, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Fr. Dan Westermann celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township Thursday from 1-8 PM where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM and at church Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
Aldo was born February 21, 1936 in Patrica, Italy, the son of Ippolito and Assunta (Valle) Salvati. He married Luciana Paris May 1, 1961 in Rome, Italy. He had resided in Grand Blanc since 1968 coming from Detroit. He owned and operated Aldo's Italian Bakery in Grand Blanc for over 50 years. Aldo was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Surviving are: his wife of 56 years, Luciana; 3 children, Sandra Salvati of Las Vegas, NV, Paola Salvati of Grand Blanc, and Aldo Salvati of Grand Blanc; 2 grandchildren, Donatella and Armando Makdad of Grand Blanc; and several nieces and nephews.
