Springer, James L. of Flushing, age 82, died Monday, June 4, 2018, at his home. The family will receive friends and family from 12-3 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at Rossell Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation and interment of cremated remains will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
James was born in Flint, Michigan on October 29, 1935, the son of Leland and Eunice (VanSlyke) Springer. He married Doris DeSelm on December 7, 1957, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. James served in the U.S. Air Force. James loved traveling all over the United States and researching family genealogy. His grandchildren, Brittney and Tyler were the greatest joy in his life.
James is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris; children, Donald Springer, Richard Springer, Valerie Springer; grandchildren, Brittney and husband Jeffery |
