Guiles, Mazallia Caroline - Age 88, of Flushing, formerly of Benzonia, died April 22, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday April 26 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Thursday, 10-11 AM Friday. Mazallia was born May 11, 1930 in Crump, Michigan, the daughter of Antoine and Mazallia M. (Dennis) Duford . She was a graduate of Flint Central High School. She married Lester Eugene Guiles on May 1, 1948 in Flint; he preceded her in death May 5, 2010. She was a school bus driver for 30 years for Flushing and Benzie County. Mazallia was very family oriented. She had an adventurous spirit and would say "I've had an amazing life." Surviving are: three children, Eugene Lester (Sherry) Guiles of Clio, Zella Ann Guiles Smith (Greg Smith) of Flint Township, David Allen (Kristie) Guiles of Fenton; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and fourteen brothers and sister. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
