NOBLE, Frank H. - Of Swartz Creek, age 84, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County. Visitation 12-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Frank was born in Flint on September 8, 1926. Frank graduated from Northern High School and received his Bachelors in Business Administration from Michigan State University. He served in the United States Air Force. Frank was a member of the Masons. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and traveling to Houghton Lake. Frank retired from General Motors V8 Engine Plant as Personnel Director. Surviving are daughter, Christiana S. Noble of Flint; Step-sister, Cynthia and husband Robert Byrd; Special niece who was like a daughter, Peggy “Maggie” and husband Joe Griffin; Sister-in-law, Pat and husband Frank Heinzelman of Fenton; Nephews, Frank Jr. and wife Lora Heinzelman of Dallas, TX and Steve and wife Karen Heinzelman of Saginaw; Great-nephews, Chad and Mark Heinzelman of Saginaw; Step-nephews, Marc Byrd and Cass Byrd; Good friends, Charlie Leachman, Arnie Kindred, Pat O’Hara and his dog and companion, Mikki. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah, father, Theron, step-father, Albra, wife of 57 years, Evelyn, in 2006 and his beloved dog, Cricket.
Frank did it his way.
