James (Jim) Lanford passed away after a long battle with COPD on July 27th, 2019 at his residence at 66 years old. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5pm, Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 13267 N. Saginaw St. Clio, MI 48420. Jim grew up in Flint, Michigan where he met his wife Sandie. They were married for 34 years and had three children. Jim loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also an amazing musician. He shared his love of these with his children and grandchildren. Jim worked most of his life as an auto body repair tech. He is survived by his wife Sandie Lanford, his three children Edward Lanford, Staci Lanford (Mike Allen), David Lanford (Brittany Gregory), and his five grandchildren Alysen, Travis, Jake, Natylea, and Emma. His brother Ron Lanford, his sisters Lori Lanford (Steve Swain), Sheila Gerics, and many more friends and family. He is proceeded in death by his dad (Cheif), mom (Irene), and brother (Steve). |
