GAGE, Michael F. – of Birch Run, age 58, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Rev. Robert Leming officiating. Cremation to follow. Inurnment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 12PM until time of services at 3PM. Contributions may be made to the family or the American Cancer Society.
Mike was born September 9, 1956 in Colorado Springs, CO to the late Junior Richard and Patricia (Hayworth) Gage and lived in Birch Run most of his life. He served in the US Marines at the end of the Vietnam War. He married Sharon Williams on June 21, 1976. Mr. Gage most recently worked for A I Industries for 10 years. He was a member of the Frankenmuth Aeromodelers Flying Club. He enjoyed camping, photography and made his own submarine.
Surviving are: wife, Sharon; children: Michael (Corey) Gage of Clio, Jeffrey (Kelley) Gage of Birch Run, Jennifer (Kevin) Miller of Birch Run; 7 grandchildren; 7 sisters and 2 brothers; mother-in-law, Marilyn Williams of Birch Run; many nieces and nephews.
