SWARTZ, Donna Jean – Of Midland, age 84, died Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road,
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Carman-Ainsworth Senior Center.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Swartz was born in Flint, Michigan on August 18, 1928, the daughter of Bernard and Irene (Wendorf) Buffey.
She married Gerald Swartz in 1950 in Michigan City, Indiana.
She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church and Carman-Ainsworth Senior Center.
She was an avid bowler, traveling all over the world.
Surviving are husband, Gerald L. "Jerry"'
children, Gail (William) Clark,
Nancy (Charles) Moser,
Patti Dean and
Brian (Donna) Swartz;
grandchildren, William G. Clark, Renee Jaco, David Dean, Laura Swartz, Erica Swartz and Wesley Swartz;
sister, June (Pete) Hester.
She was preceded in death by grandson, Chad Clark; brother, Gerald Buffey.
