Shirley Ann Marshall / Badon age 72 of Flint passed away at her residence. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, June 14, 2019 at Faith Temple COGIC, 5802 Fleming Rd. Flint, MI. Family hour will be 10 am Friday until time of service. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Bishop Aaron Milton officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7pm Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. She will lie in state at the funeral home starting at 12 noon, for those who cannot make the 5-7pm family time Thursday. Shirley was born October 6, 1946 in England, Arkansas, the daughter of Bishop Namon Marshall Sr. and Alberta Webb-Marshall. Shirley was a resident of Flint, and a member of Ruth Street Church of God under her father Bishop Namon Marshall Sr. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1965, spent 2 years at Mott College then attended Baker College. Shirley was joined in marriage to Superintendent Clinton J. Badon II. in 1991 and she enjoyed working for General Motors Buick City and Happy Singer's Choir. She is survived by husband Superintendent Clinton J. Badon II., sons Bernard L. Porter, Rowland T. (Myra) Porter, Reginald A. Badon, and Micah S. (Regina) Badon, all of Flint, brothers Pastor Namon Marshall Jr., Alfred B. Marshall, sister Alma Marshall-Verdun, host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends, God Daughters Chintillie Verdun-Jennings, Torrissa Johnson and Donna Carroll, God Mother and Father Mama Lois and Dada Jack Morrow, all of Flint, MI. Shirley was preceded in death by her father Namon and mother Alberta Webb-Marshall, her daughter Karleana N. Jones and son Clinton B. Badon III. |
