Tony Douglas Boone, age 62 of Grand Blanc, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020. He was born on December 6, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to parents Tony Boone and Joyce (Oliver) Breece-Helms. Tony retired from GM after 36 years of serving as shop committee man and chairman of the shop committee of Local 659. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed fishing, going to concerts, watching sports on TV, and especially loved being a papa. Tony will be lovingly remembered by his mother: Joyce Breece-Helms; children: Kathi (Rick) Haddix, Justin Boone, Hannah Boone; grandchildren: Byron, Ruby, Dahlia; siblings: Dawn (Paul) Engle, David Breece, Scott (Sherry) Breece, Debbie (Dennis) Pavlik, Randall (Gayle) Breece, Matt (Teena) Boone, Wendy (KC) Parrish; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Boone; wife, Kay Boone; and sister, Devonne Boone. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Tony’s life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the American Breast Cancer Foundation. |
