THERRIAN, Joseph J. – of Burton, age 81, passed away December 27, 2013 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Burial, with Military honors under the auspices of the Davison VFW #4087 will follow in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am until time of service on Saturday.
Joseph was born in Trout Lake, MI on January 12, 1932, son of the late Joseph M. and Mary E. (McMillan) Therrian. Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Audrey V. Crisp on November 9, 1957 in Burton. Joseph was a lifelong member of the Davison VFW # 4087. He enjoyed hunting in the U.P. and spending time working in his garage. Joseph worked for GM before retiring in 1984 after 32 years of service.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 56 years, Audrey Therrian; sons, Mark (Beth) Therrian and David (Tonya) Therrian; granddaughters, Emily and Amanda Therrian and Katelynn Farmer. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Mary and Alonzo Snell.
