WIGGERS, Charlene Marie – of Phoenix, AZ, age 69, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, June 22, 2019 at St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church, 230 East Vienna Street, Clio, MI 48420; Rev. Fr. Kenneth F. Coughlin celebrant. The family will receive visitors 10-11 AM Saturday, June 22, 2019 at St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass and Inurnment will be held in Phoenix, AZ on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Charlene’s memory.
Charlene was born in Evansville, IN on September 9, 1949, daughter of Mary (Zehner) Wiggers Edmonds and the late Charles Wiggers. She enjoyed traveling, photography and spending time with her family and friends.
Charlene is survived by her mother, Mary Wiggers Edmonds of Clio, MI; brother and caregiver, Curt (Sally) Wiggers of Otisville, MI; sister, Constance Montgomery of Scottsdale, AZ; dear friend and caregiver, Angela (Brian) Borland of Phoenix, AZ; 2 step-siblings, Duane Edmonds and Shirley Brautigan; 2 nieces; 3 great-nephews; 1 great-niece; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Wiggers; step-father, Harvey Edmonds and brother-in-law, Roger Montgomery.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the nurses and staff of Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice for their compassionate and professional care of Charlene.
