BROCK, Jimmie Miles- Age 69, of Flint Twp., died Wednesday June 17, 2020. No public services will be held. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Jimmie was born September 9, 1950 in Flint, the son of Joe and Nora (Davis) Brock. He married Judy Harkness and she preceded him in death in 2019. Jimmie retired from General Motors Metal Fabrication Plant with 33 years of service.. He was a member of UAW Local 629 and enjoyed oval track racing at Auto City and Dixie Speedways for many years. Surviving are: son, Jimmie Miles Brock, Jr. of Flint; Krista Harrel Brock of Flint; many grandchildren; siblings, Tim Brock, Brenda Bodag, Linda Brock; ex-wife and good friend, Phyllis Brock of Flint; step-daughters, Tena and Karen Harkness. He was also survived by siblings, Tim, Linda, Brenda and Janice; many nieces, nephews and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Cheryl Ann.
