BEATENHEAD, Ruth E. – age 85, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Flint, Michigan. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Reigle Funeral Home – 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan. Married in Indiana in December of 1963, Ruth married the love of her life Robert Beatenhead, together they created a life full of happiness and love. Ruth enjoyed every moment she spent with her family. Ruth loved her animals; she was constantly feeding a new visitor. She even created a friendship with a skunk. Ruth was a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Robert; children: Michael Elliott, Robert (Dawn Shuell) Battinkoff, Julie Wend, Chris (Manita Davis) Beatenhead; grandchildren: Carrie, Alison, John, Nicole, Joey, Destiny, Mathew, Orson; and 3 great-grandchildren.
