Lucille Irene Faber of Flushing, age 90, a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died Friday, March 27, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Rossell Funeral Home with Rev. Teresa Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Monday. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Reverance Hospice.
Lucille was born in Ann Arbor, MI on November 13, 1924, the daughter of Mildred Crowe. She married Keith Faber, Sr. in Flint on August 1, 1942. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1982. Lucille was a retired sales clerk and had worked in childcare for 20 years. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and loved spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her six children, Keith Faber Jr. of Houghton Lake, Patricia (John) Tagge of Houghton Lake, Jerry (Mary) Faber of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Ken (Brenda) Faber of Flushing, Louann (Hal) Dise of Saginaw, Shirley (Robert) Van Deusen of Flushing; two daughters-in-law, Jean Faber and Marion Faber; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Jo) Harmeier; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by sons, Steve, Robert, and William; daughters, Trudy and Viola; and several precious grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
