STEBBINS, Morton D. "Bud" -- Age 79, of Fenton, died January 20, 2014 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc. A celebration of Bud's life will held at a later date. Bud was born December 6, 1934 in Rosebush, the son of Alfred and Mildred (Ervin) Stebbins. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School and received a degree in Pharmacy from Ferris State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserves. He owned and operated Grand Blanc Printing since 1968 and formerly owned the Grand Blanc News. Bud was a member of Spring Meadows Country Club and the American Legion in Grand Blanc. He also was inducted into the Michigan Amateur Softball Association Hall of Fame. He was an avid deer hunter and sports fan. Bud married Karis D. Richardson April 11, 2008 in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

Surviving are: wife, Karis; 3 sons, Matthew and wife Rayne of Linden, Mark and wife Renee of Linden, and Michael and wife Lacy of Fenton; 2 grandchildren, Brady and Ava; brother, William and wife Hope of Fenton; sister, Debbie Lockard of Swartz Creek; father-in-law, Dennis Richardson of Farwell; special cousin, Doris Wrigley of Sun City, AZ; several nieces and nephews; and his 2 cherished four legged friends, Homer and Stella. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Joan Stebbins; and brother, David. Arrangements handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.
