HAROLD MEINECKE, age 90 of Otisville, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be 4:30 PM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Mumford Hudson Funeral Home, Pastor Dave Weiss officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 1PM until time of service. Cremation has taken place. Contributions may be made to the Saginaw VA. Harold was born on October 7, 1921 to Henery and Ameila Meinecke. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, making wine, farming, and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving is his wife, Jeanne; children: Susan James, Sally (Bill) McCrea, Sandy (Bob) Haskin, “Smokey” (Kim) Meinecke, and Mark (Janet) Meinecke; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1great-great-grandchild; brothers and sisters: Henerietta Vargo, Jack Meinecke, and Frank Meinecke. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters: Ameila, Jerry, Dorothy, Bob, and Mildred. Harold was loved and respected by many. |
