Minard, Juliet – of Flint, age 60, died Thursday September 12, 2013, a result of complications from cancer.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 15 from 2-8 p.m. at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Memorial service will be Monday, September 16 at 4 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Flint, 2474 S. Ballenger Highway. Reverend Dr. Deane Oliva officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 3 p.m.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Flint Public Library in her honor.
Juliet was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on October 24, 1952, daughter of the late Donald and Miriam (Williams) Minard.
She was an avid gardener, spirited contra dancer, loving wife and mother. Juliet was devoted to bettering our community as a librarian at the Flint Public Library.
Juliet is survived by her husband of 37 years, Scott Stensaas;
Her children, Rudy and Emma Stensaas;
Brother, John D. Minard (Valerie);
Sisters, Susan Kuddes and Martha Minard.
