KUBIK, Dawn Marie - Age 88, of Fenton, passed away November 3, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held 5:30-8:30 PM Friday, November 22, 2024 at Lucky's Steakhouse, 17500 Silver Pkwy., Fenton, MI. Cremation arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Memorial contributions in Dawn's memory would be appreciated to Tanglewood Assisted Living of Fenton.
Dawn was born May 15, 1936 in Flint, the daughter of Francis and Edith (Doan) Lamson. Dawn was employed as a Hair Stylist for many years. She loved animals, especially her dogs and horses. Dawn was a member of the Walking Horse Association of Michigan and the Michigan Trail Riders Association where she rode across Michigan several times. Dawn also showed her horses in various events. Dawn lived on Lake Fenton for many years. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and homemaking.
Dawn is survived by her daughter, Arika (Dave) Brochu; son Stacy (Karen) Kubik; grandchildren, Alexis Kubik, Katelyn Kubik, Charlize Brochu, and Shayla Brochu; great grandson, Coleson Christensen.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred Kubik on July 5, 2017; and her son Jason Kubik. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
