WECKLER, RALPH age 88, of Grand Blanc, MI, died Thursday,
September 8, 2011 at Brian's House Hospice. Funeral Services will be 10:30
A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S.
Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Max Hayden officiating. Interment at
Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Ralph was born August 19, 1923 in Flint, MI. to parents Fredrick and Ida
(Kietzman) Weckler. He retired after 42 years of service as Director of
Operations from A.C. Spark Plug. Ralph served in the U.S. Army Air Corp
during WW II. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of
Grand Blanc, Life Member of Flint Masonic Lodge 23 F&AM, The Old
News Boys and Grand Blanc American Legion Post 413. Surviving are
children Eileen Weckler of Grand Blanc, MI., Laura (Billy) Jacobs of Grand
Blanc, MI.; sister Frances (Jim) Cuthbertson of Grand Blanc, MI.; several
nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife Marjorie and parents.
Contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church of Grand
Blanc, The Old News Boys or a charity of your choice.
