BARBER, John O. - Of Flint, age 56, died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at his residence.
Memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Visitation 3-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
John was born in Flint, Michigan and was a resident of Flint all of his life.
John was employed by GM at Buick/Delphi for over 30 years.
Surviving are daughter, Denver Collett;
grandson, Tyler Collett; granddaughter, Rylie Collett;
brother, Richard (Sandra);
sisters, Deborah (Terry) Norko, Kathleen (John) Lukes and Heather Barber;
7 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Muryl Barber.
