Jeremy Todd Geda (April 26, 1977) passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2024 at the age of 46. He is survived by his many family and friends. Among them are his four children Hunter, Alyssa, Phoenix, and Jasper; their mothers Jennifer Baird (Shawn), Nicole Fenech, and Kimberly Knoll Stanley; his parents John and Katherine; his brothers Jason (Mary), Kristopher (Andy), and Kyle (Jacquelyn); his sister Sherry Moore (Tom); his niblings Reese Gunn, Caitlyn, Emily, Lauren, Arthur, and Walter; as well as numerous other family members.
Jeremy was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School (1995) and Mott Community College (2013), where he earned his Associates Degree in Nursing. He became a registered nurse in 2014, a career in which he found great meaning, focusing on providing care, especially mental health support, to incarcerated people across Michigan. Between high school and college, Jeremy also served as a military police officer in the United States Army.
Jeremy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially camping up north where he spent numerous weekends every summer. He is remembered for his generosity and deep empathy. He laughed easily and loved hard. He will be loved and missed by a great many people.
Visitation 1 p.m. and Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
