SABONG, Milagros J. - Of Grand Blanc, age 72, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton,
Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Cremation will take place following the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Visitation 2-8pm Thursday and 2-8pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Thursday evening and 7pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Saturday at the church until the time of the Mass.
Milagros was born in Catarman, Philippines on February 6, 1944, the daughter of the late Vivencio and Pureza Sabong. She worked for Hurley ICU for many years, retiring in 2004. Milagros was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the Morning Rosary Prayer Group. She was also a member of Our Lady of Fatima Prayer Group. Milagros was a hard worker and a reliable friend.
She leaves behind, special friend, Miriam Singson;
brothers and sisters, Reynaldo, Efren, Sally, Susan, Teresita, Arturo, Gil, Marilou and Vivencio Jr;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ramon and sister, Ethelinda.
