Dr. Clifford A. Trethewey Sr.
Age 88 of Owosso passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Mid Michigan Medical Center-Gratiot.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Deb Grazier officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm.
Clifford was born February 3, 1931 in Ironwood, Michigan, served in the United States Army and earned a Doctorate of Podiatry.
He was a member of First Congregational Church of Owosso, Eagles Club, Elks Club, Owosso City Club, VFW, American Legion, Michigan State Podiatry Association and Podiatry Association.
He married Annaliese Hodina on November 3, 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; she predeceased him in 2015.
Clifford was a local Podiatrist for nearly 50 years.
Clifford is survived by his children Clifford A. Trethewey Jr., Joseph Allen Trethewey, Anneliesa A Trethewey and Amber M Trethewey; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; several nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Annaliese Elizabeth Trethewey.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Veterans Affairs, VFW, American Legion or any veterans charity of choice.
