MOREY, Kathleen I. – Of Flint, age 97, died Monday, March 28, 2016 at Place to Remember in Davison.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplain Dave Gerber officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one's choice.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Kathleen was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 17, 1919, the daughter of Fred and Catherine (Wilkinson) Hunt.
She married Raymond H. Morey and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1990.
She was a member of Flint Central Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are children, Donald Morey of Davison,
Beverly Cousins of Flint,
Judy and husband Jim Austin of Flint;
grandchildren, Brad Morey of Burton,
Bruce and wife Dawn Morey of Macomb Township,
Brian and wife Karen Morey of Davison,
Gary and wife Gwen Cousins of Flint Township,
Tom and wife Sharyn Cousins of Clarkston,
Kathy and husband Jeff Myers of Davison,
Mike Austin of Manchester, Michigan,
Robert and wife Jill Austin of Dansville, Michigan and
Rebecca Austin of Flint;
18 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Louise Flatgard and Audrey Nelson, both of California;
special niece, Bonnie Addis of Sterling Heights.
She was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Elsie Morey and son-in-law, Lee Cousins.
