HALLECK, Norman E. – Of Flint, age 86, died Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Norman was born in Flint, MI on October 18, 1933 the son of the late Michael Halleck & Florence (Morgan) Halleck.
He proudly served 4 years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Worcester. Norman happily married the love of this life Barbara Shustock on March 1, 1952. He enjoyed the outdoor life, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, especially fun times camping up on Lower Chub Lake.
Surviving are; four of his children, Rosemary Halleck, Stephen Halleck, Dennis (Sherry) Halleck, and Sandra Willbanks; Grandchildren; Samantha (Jason) Balcom, Amanda (Jeramy) Trent, Jessica Atkinson Esq., Cory Halleck, Travis (Sheena) Atkinson, Andrea Halleck, Douglas (Jessica) Woolley, plus many step grandchildren he treated as his own and numerous great-grandchildren he loved wholeheartedly as well.
He is preceded in death by two grandsons, wife Barbara and daughter Denise.
In lieu of flowers, the Halleck family requests contributions be made to The Salvation Army.
