CANNELL, Ronald J. - of Lapeer, Michigan, age 79, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020. Cremation has taken place. A Private Graveside Memorial Service will be held.
Ronald was born in Flint, Michigan on July 25, 1941, son of the late Jack A. Cannell and Ruby (Klee) Daly. He was employed by Perry Printing in Flint and most recently by The Ohio State University as a teacher in the set and design section of the drama department. He enjoyed bingo, fishing and being outdoors.
Ronald is survived by 3 children, daughter, Bethany Cannell Rogers (Duane); 2 sons, Ronald P. Cannell (Jayne) and John C. Cannell (Francis); 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Nicole, Amber and Christopher; 7 siblings, Chrisinda Ketterer, Nerissa Barkman, Kay Ray, Patricia Cannell, James Daly, Larry Daly and Linda Leja; many other loving family members and dear friends. Special thanks to devoted niece and caregiver, Jennifer LaFond. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Cannell and Ruby Daly; brother, Norman Nordbye and grandson, Benjamin Rogers.
