HANSON, Lynette Jill (Garnett) – of Lapeer, MI, age 62, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. A Graveside Service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Ottawa Park Cemetery, 6180 Dixie Highway, Clarkston, MI 48346; Pastor Josh Combs officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Lynette’s memory.
Lynette was born in Pontiac, MI on June 13, 1956, daughter of Jack and the late Maxine (Frizzle) Garnett. She was employed with Lapeer Community Schools as part of the cafeteria staff. Lynette loved bird watching, music and she especially loved to sing.
Lynette is survived by her son, Michael (Shannon) Hanson, Jr.; 3 grandchildren, Thomas, Alexis and Morgan; 4 siblings, Jack (Pat) Garnett, John (Francine) Garnett, Steve (Dawn) Garnett and Corrine (Randy) Purdy; life partner and best friend, Frank Mielke; many other loving family members and friends.
