Hunt, Carol Ann - Age 69, of Swartz Creek, passed away July 3, 2018 at McLaren Hospital ICU. She was a deeply loved wife, mother and sister whose loss is immeasurable. Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday, July 7 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, at our temporary location at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of service at the church at 3 PM Saturday. Private interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Carol graduated from St. Michaels Flint and attended Mott Community College for Social Work with a specialty in Gerontology. Carol, or Coco, as she was known to her family was loving, fun to be with, and generous to a fault. She was a very talented seamstress, expert in needlepoint, and voracious reader. She was a loyal friend and had a deep appreciation of fun, music and dance. She was a joy to be around. She always had an open mind, listening ear, and shoulder to cry on. Her family and friends loved her without reservation.
She leaves behind her husband of 44 years Richard; her daughter Stephanie (Tim) Byrd; her grandchildren Trevor and Sabrina Byrd. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer in 1993; and her parents, Cliff and Carol Wamsley.
She is also mourned by four sisters, Darlene (Dave) Roether, Joanne Boyer, Cynthia Wamsley and Lisa Wamsley; nieces, Andrea (Greg) Leonard, Danielle (Chris) Mauch, Erynn (Kevin) O'Keefe, Maegan Boyer, Allyson Boyer; nephew, Jesse (Ruth) Boyer.
