LeBEAU, Dale R. – of Davison, MI, age 75, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, August 27, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Robert C. Bacik celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. The family will receive visitors 1-7 PM Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Monday, August 27, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center or to a charity of one’s choice, in Dale’s memory.
Dale was born in Flint, MI on May 18, 1943, son of the late Raymond and Ann (Haas) LeBeau. He married Judy Stefanko on April 27, 1963. Dale was an employee of AC Spark Plug. Then, he became the President of UAW Local #651 and moved on to become a UAW International Staff Representative for Region 1-C. He retired from General Motors after more than 41 years of service. Dale was a classic car enthusiast and a highly competitive softball, bowler and shuffleboard player.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy; 3 children, April LeBeau, Dan (Christine) LeBeau and Dena LeBeau; 5 grandchildren, Adam Trafas, Autumn Yarbrough, Summer Yarbrough, Ty LeBeau and Danyelle LeBeau; 2 siblings, Gloria Dalton and Glen (Dawn) LeBeau; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ken LeBeau and Al LeBeau.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Dale Hanson, M.D. and his staff for their continued care and support, Dr. James B. Froehlich, M.D., M.P.H. at the University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center and Fran, Brenda and Elizabeth from Reverence Hospice for their compassionate and professional care of Dale.
