Charlene Quinn, age 85, of Flint, died March 2, 2025, at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at St. Mary-Catholic Community Flint 2500 N. Franklin Ave, Flint, MI 48506. Rev. Fr. Matthew Bonk officiating with cremation to follow. Charlene’s family will be present at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris on Wednesday, to receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On Wednesday evening, family, and friends will gather to pray the Rosary at 6:00 pm. On Thursday morning, Charlene will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00 am until the time of mass at 11:00 am. Charlene was born on June 15, 1939, in Flint, she is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Hector and Betsy (Smith) Crepeau. Educated locally, Charlene graduated from St. Matthew Catholic High School with the class of 1958. She worked as a bus driver for MTA, retiring after 25 years of service. She was a long-time member of the St. Mary-Catholic Community Flint, and the altar society, Birch run Moose Lodge, Chapter 2142. Charlene enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, playing cards and bingo, and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her friend and companion of 40 years, Betty Mahoney; four children: Randy (Sherrye) Quinn, Rhonda Bankstahl, David (Danielle) Quinn, Leisa Salgat; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings: Larry (Danelle) Crepeau, Paul Crepeau, Donald (Debbie) Crepeau, Bernadette (Roger) Wills, Margie (Bill) Pattee, and Pauline Papineau.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert; brother, Dennis Crepeau; sister, Jean Dalzall.
