Henry E.Masters, known by many as Gene, age 78 of Lapeer died Monday May 9, 2011 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center after a long illness. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 14, 2011 at 2:00pm at the Lapeer Eagles Club 3565 Davison Rd. Lapeer Mi. Henry was born on August 27,1932 to William J. and Anna (Schamberg) Masters in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He served country in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. Henry was employed by General Motors for 20 years, retiring in 1986.He served as President, Treasurer and Secretary of Lapeer Eagles Club. also was past member of the Elba Lions Club. Henry had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends watching sports and playing with "scooter" the cat. Henry is survived by his loving wife Sharon(Moore)Masters and his sons Richard and Christopher of Lapeer He was fondly called Juggy by his surviving brothers and sisters: Margaret Baron of Scranton, Pa. William of Scranton,P.A; Ronald of Wyalusing,P.A. and Carol Karpovich of C.T. Henry was also survived by many Nieces, Nephews,Great Nieces and Nephews and many friends.
