WILSON, Inas Pearl - Of Flint, age 85, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Fostrian Assisted Living.
Inas was born on July 24, 1928 in Monroe County, Virginia. She married Edgar Gordon Wilson, on May, 21, 1949, and he preceded her in death on June 17, 2004. She enjoyed cooking for the family, and was an avid sports fan. She especially enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, often using her “pet names” for many of the players.
She is survived by her four children, Larry (Tuni) Wilson of Davison, Gary (Jeanne) Wilson of Lake Orion, Ladonna (Mike) Coulter of Grand Blanc, and Marquetta (late Patrick) Basista of Swartz Creek. Two step-daughters Sylvia Bare, and Wanda Williams-Addision also preceded her passing. She was known as “Granny” to her many grand and great grandchildren along with another great grandchild expected in July.
Visitation will be at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Rd. in Flint on Friday May 16, from 5-8 PM and Saturday May 17, from 11:00AM-2:30PM. A service to celebrate her life will be at 2:30 PM, May 17, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family also wishes to extend special thanks to the wonderful staff at Fostrian, all of whom provided outstanding care and support during her stay. Contributions to the American Lung Association can be made in lieu of flowers.
