CRAMER, DARLENE E. – Of Commerce Township, MI, formerly of Grand Blanc, age 86, died Monday, July 29, 2024 at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital.

Funeral service will be held 4pm Friday, August 2, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Chaplain William White officiating.

Visitation 1pm Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Cremation will take place following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Genesee County Humane Society.

Darlene was born in Wayne, Michigan on November 23, 1937, the daughter of William and Marian (Julien) Casker. Darlene grew up in Highland Park, Michigan and had fond memories of Detroit. She was a lifelong fan of the sports teams, especially the Detroit Red Wings. On July 12, 1958, she married Richard P. Cramer in Detroit. They traveled the country, ultimately settling in Grand Blanc, Michigan. She retired from Chase Bank and made lifelong friends that she cherished. Darlene loved to swim and fish and always wanted to be near the water.

Surviving are daughter Deardree and husband Steven Harrison of Commerce Township;

sons, Ed Cramer of Grand Rapids and Matt Cramer of Gladwin;

Grandchildren, Alexandra and William Harrison and Mackenzie and Brooklyne Cramer;

Cousin, Marlin Casker;

And favorite dogs, Axle and Karma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 1995.
