Sparks, Rose Edith "Gaga" - Age 92, of Flushing, died May 24, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, May 28 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 11110 N. Saginaw, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location at the Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek. Rose was born August 1, 1926 in Flint the daughter of Wallace and Sybil (Hoover) Miller. She was a graduate of Flushing High School. She married Joseph Sparks on February 22, 1947 in Flint; he preceded her in death in 1987. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Mt. Morris. Surviving are: three children, Daniel (Sharon) Sparks, Patricia Sawatzki, Peggy Hodge; grandchildren. Curtis (Rhonda) Sparks, Stacy (John) Buterakos, Brad (Melissa) Sparks, Brian (Rebekah) Mims, Becky (Jason) Christie, David (Heather) Anderson, Joshua (Lisa) Anderson, Jacob Anderson; 13 great-grandchildren;
2 sisters, Carol Soini and Judy Kozlowski. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and sister Marie Koon. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
