Arles Lee Gains, age 77 of Flint, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020. He was born on October 17, 1942 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to parents Paul and Ruby (Hoalcraft) Gains. Arles moved to Michigan as a teenager and grew up in Flint. He retired after 40 years of service at GM Metal Fab. He enjoyed hockey and was an avid Flint Generals fan, but more than anything he loved spending time with his family. Arles is survived by daughters: Wendy (Ed) Oldaugh and Julia (Tim) Hitsman; many grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by both parents; wife, Roseann Gains in 1996. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. |
