BROUILLET, Edmund W. “Tony” Jr.- of Genesee, age 81, died Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Cranberry Park Memory Care in Clio. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Edmund was born June 14, 1932 in Detroit, MI to the late Edmond and Virginia (Byron) Brouillet. He graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1951 and received his Masters Degree from Michigan State University, where he was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity. Edmund served in the U.S Army during the Korean War where he was stationed in Germany. He married Sue Miller on June 21, 1957 in Grosse Pointe Woods.
Mr. Brouillet retired in 1984 from Mt. Morris Schools as a Business Teacher and a golf and baseball coach. He was a former member of the Vienna Greens Golf Course. His passion was golf and he was an avid Spartans, Tigers, Lions and Red Wings fan.
Surviving are: wife, Sue; children, Michael (Dianne) Brouillet of Otisville, Caroline (Tom) Snyder of Millington; grandchildren, Kailey, Alissa and Alex Brouillet; niece, Jeri Lynn Slater of Muskegon; lifelong golf partner, Rick Forshee of Grand Rapids; many other friends and golf companions.
