PHILLIPS, Iva R. - of Grand Blanc, age 85, died Friday, February 24, 2017 at Maple Place.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Joseph G. Milosic officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 11am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Iva was born in Flint on August 24, 1931, the daughter of the late Walter and Carrie Belle(Sutliff) Cross and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life. Iva worked at AC Spark Plug for 30 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling.
Surviving are 6 children, Connie (Al) Neva, Steve (Mary) Phillips, Randy Phillips, Julie (Tim) Johnson, Susan (Tom) Wedemire and Gary (Melissa) Phillips;
Loving companion, Bill Zook;
16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren;
And brother, Al Cross.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Whitlock and 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
