David Alton Smith of Oscoda formerly of Davison, age 54 passed away peacefully on Thursday August 27, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. Keeping with David’s wishes cremation has taken place with no services planned.
David was born in Flint Michigan on May 3, 1966 the son of Alton F. and Janet Smith and had resided in the Davison area most of his life. David worked as a dry-waller for 30 years and took great pride in his work. David loved the outdoors, had a great sense of humor and will and will be deeply missed in many hearts.
David is survived by his parents, and daughter Stevie Smith of Davison as well as many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Marie Smith Dicosola and his grandparents. You may offer your condolences at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
