FARIS, Eugenia “Jeanie” – age 81, passed away on July 8, 2017 in Flushing, Michigan. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 9am – 12pm at Reigle Funeral Home – 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 12pm at Reigle Funeral Home with Father Robert Copeland celebrating. Jeanie was born on September 24, 1935 in Flint, Michigan to Eugene and Dolores (Patsy) Grossi. Jeanie married the love of her life Raymond Faris in Flint, Michigan in 1956 together they built a life full of love and happiness. They loved to travel to Aruba and Las Vegas enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds each had to offer. Jeanie loved life! She especially enjoyed trips to Greek Town in Detroit, Michigan to explore their delicious cuisine “Opa!” and the excitement of the casino. Jeanie was meticulous in all she did, from her beautiful home to her exquisite handwriting, she is to be admired her attention to every detail. She enjoyed every moment she spent with her family and laughs they shared. Jeanie was a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure knowing her. She is survived by son, Dr. Mathew G. Faris and daughter, Lesa A. Faris; grandson, Gino Dominic Faris; several loving cousins and casino buddies; special friends, Helen Villarreal and Bunnie Striggow. Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Faris and her parents, Eugene and Dolores Grossi. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or St. Pius Catholic Church in Jeanie’s name.
